I aim to teach my students that yoga is not to be practiced just on the mat, and to be lived in daily lives.
I encourage people to thinking
and have a positive attitude towards life.I began my yoga practice in 1996 but it was a bit later that I found deeper meaning of yoga. Besides of being a Certified Hatha Yoga teacher and a Certified Iyengar Yoga, traditional system of teaching and practice of yoga recognized worldwide). I also hold a Certificate of Ayurveda Lifestyle Management Consultancy. I have been teaching yoga full time since 2004 on the North Shore and yoga is for me more than a practice, it is my lifestyle. My yoga journey has taken me to study with senior teachers from New Zealand, Australia, India and Brazil and also to travel to India few times. Sofia, my daughter, 13 years young, is a very important part of that journey.
My teacher , Pixie Lillas, Senior Iyengar Yoga Teacher from Sydney, Australia inspire me for the richness of her knowledge but also for her compassion towards her students. She suggest exploration and Integration in our yoga practice.
