When Marcia asked me to write something about what yoga means to me, I looked at her quizzically and she replied “you know like a sentence about what yoga means for you”.
‘Oh, no problem’ I replied. I mean ‘one sentence, how hard is that gonna be, right?’ Wrong!
Turns out – I was stumped.
So, I thought, and thought and thought,
I mean yes, undoubtedly Yoga is postures and techniques for strengthening my body. It is also learning how to move into poses that challenge preconceptions of what my body is capable of – but it is so much more than this.
